Lead Full-Stack .NET Developer
UNIVERSAL Technologies is seeking an experienced Lead Full-Stack .NET Developer for an onsite role in Albany, NY to support enterprise web application development initiatives. Local applicants only, active LinkedIn preferred. The selected consultant will lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable, secure, and high-performing web applications using modern .NET technologies and front-end frameworks. This role requires strong expertise in full-stack development, RESTful services, database design, code versioning, and Agile delivery methodologies.

• 7+ years of experience with .NET / C# development
• 7+ years of Full-Stack Web Development experience
• 7+ years of experience in Web Application Security
• 7+ years of experience in Relational Database Design and SQL
• 7+ years of experience with Frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• 7+ years of experience working with XML and JSON data formats
• 7+ years of experience using Git for source control
• 7+ years of experience using Visual Studio
• 6+ years of experience conducting Code Reviews
• 6+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server
• 6+ years of experience with ASP.NET Core
• 6+ years of experience with ASP.NET Core MVC and WebAPI
• 6+ years of experience with Entity Framework and LINQ
• 6+ years of experience with Unit Testing frameworks (MSTest, XUnit, and/or NUnit)
• Experience leading development efforts in an Agile project management environment
• Experience managing code merges and version control processes
• Strong analytical and workflow analysis skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with Frontend frameworks such as Vue.js or Angular
• Experience building responsive web applications using TypeScript, Bootstrap 4, CSS3, and HTML5
• Experience designing and developing RESTful microservices
• Experience with GraphQL
• Experience with Playwright for end-to-end testing
• Experience with Azure DevOps
• Prior work experience with New York State
SCOPE OF SERVICES
• Analyze and interpret business rules and workflows to support application design
• Perform workflow analysis and performance metrics/data analysis
• Design and code web application interfaces and reusable libraries following SOLID principles
• Develop responsive web applications using modern front-end frameworks
• Design and develop web services using ASP.NET Core WebAPI and HTTP Action Results
• Generate scalable REST microservices
• Develop SQL statements optimized for performance, including database initialization and automated test data seeding
• Utilize Entity Framework and LINQ within the data layer
• Develop HTML extension helpers and/or web components to standardize UI components
• Create diagrams illustrating methodologies, logical flows, processes, and data models
• Lead development and testing efforts in an Agile environment
• Conduct code reviews and provide knowledge transfer to peer developers
• Manage code merges and version control activities
• Assist Configuration and Release Management teams with scheduling and performing deployments
• Provide training to staff on newly adopted technologies
