Peoplesoft Developer
UNIVERSAL Technologies is seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Developer for a hybrid role in New York, NY to support the NYCAPS PeopleSoft HCM applications. The selected resource will partner with the Technical Lead to manage and review work products, design new customizations for upcoming releases, and coordinate with project stakeholders across the full development life cycle.

MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
· Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related Technical/Business discipline is required.
Minimum of 7 years’ experience working with multiple versions of PeopleSoft and PeopleTools across HCM modules.
Extensive experience with PeopleSoft HCM applications (v9.2 PUM 39+ with fluid technology) and PeopleSoft Tools (v8.59+).
Implementation, design, and customization experience for PeopleSoft Tools Upgrades.
Hands-on experience in data/code analysis, creating and reviewing technical designs, coding, unit testing, and debugging PeopleSoft HCM modules.
Experience customizing COBOL stored procedures.
Strong programming experience with App Designer, PeopleCode, Application Package, Application Engine, Workflow, Integration Broker, and SQR.
Experience creating/modifying data conversion scripts.
Skilled in developing complex interfaces into legacy and third-party systems.
Proficiency in SQL and PS/Query for troubleshooting, validating, and testing source system data.
Strong analytical/problem-solving skills with the ability to document and assess system impacts.
Knowledge of STAT Tool, Oracle, and SQL Server.
Excellent communication skills (oral and written), interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
Knowledge and hands-on experience with Oracle Fluid technology.
Extensive experience using Web Services.
Experience supporting enterprise-wide, large-scale implementations.
Familiarity with CA Scheduler Tool.
SCOPE OF SERVICES
Reapply production customizations and design/develop enhancements for NYCAPS PeopleSoft HCM applications (Core HR, Benefits, Recruiting, Absence Management, and Performance Management).
Work as a technical developer with strong business process understanding for the PeopleTools Upgrade Project.
Collaborate with end users, Application Development teams, and Product Owners to design, code, test, and implement new applications that meet business requirements.
Create detailed design documents for new customizations and enhancements.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams throughout the project life cycle to ensure quality and timely delivery of technical solutions.
