Product Owner / Business Analyst
UNIVERSAL Technologies is seeking a Product Owner / Business Analyst to lead innovation and manage end-to-end product development and support. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to drive product delivery in a fast-paced Agile environment. Candidates should be prepared to work on-site 3 days per week in Long-Island City, NY.

REQUIRED CORE COMPETENCIES:
Minimum 3 years of experience as a lead Product Owner or Business Analyst
At least 5 years of IT experience in roles as a BA and or Product Owner
Expert knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Strong experience in gathering requirements and documenting complex business processes
Excellent communication, presentation, and articulation skills
Detail-oriented, collaborative team player with strong soft skills and adherence to structured processes
SCOPE OF SERVICES:
Translate product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements, including user stories and acceptance criteria
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including analytics, design/UX, engineering, and user enablement
Operate in an Agile environment, regularly refining priorities, outlining milestones and deliverables, and assessing risks and opportunities
Partner with stakeholders to help define product vision, strategy, and feature prioritization
Own and maintain the product roadmap as needed
Assist in designing the internal and external user experience, including system support and monitoring
Prioritize and manage the sprint backlog for assigned products to meet stakeholder needs
Lead the functional design process grounded in user knowledge and technical constraints
Track and report on product performance metrics to support data-driven investment decisions
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
