Senior Software Developer
UNIVERSAL Technologies is seeking a Senior Software Developer for an onsite role in Brooklyn, NY with deep expertise in Generative AI, cloud-native development, .NET Technologies, Python, DevOps, and Oracle PL/SQL Development to support enterprise application delivery to support a high-priority, agency-wide initiative focused on reducing payment error rates and strengthening program integrity. Active LinkedIn preferred. This role will design, build, and support scalable, secure, AI-enabled solutions that improve eligibility accuracy, automate case processing, and enhance data-driven decision-making in a regulated enterprise environment.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 10 years of experience in software development using .NET Core, C#, and Python
Minimum 10 years of experience delivering mid- to large-scale enterprise applications and system integrations
Minimum 10 years of experience applying strong debugging, performance tuning, and secure coding practices
Minimum 7 years of experience designing and developing microservices and web applications using REST APIs, MVC, Web API, JSON, OAuth, SSO, and microservices architectures
Minimum 7 years of experience with relational databases, including Oracle SQL/PL-SQL, entity-relationship design, query optimization, and stored procedures
Minimum 7 years of experience working in cloud and DevOps environments using Azure, AWS, or GCP
Minimum 7 years of experience deploying applications using Docker, CI/CD pipelines, API gateways, and cloud-native services
Minimum 5 years of experience designing and implementing AI/ML and NLP solutions, including LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, NLP models, and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) vector databases
Minimum 5 years of experience deploying and integrating AI models using cloud AI services such as AWS Bedrock and SageMaker
Experience implementing MLOps and LLMOps practices for model deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management
Strong communication and collaboration skills within cross-functional agile teams
SCOPE OF SERVICES
Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications, APIs, and microservices using C#, .NET Core, REST, and modern UI frameworks
Fine-tune, deploy, and integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar models using AWS Bedrock and Python frameworks
Design, optimize, and deploy Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures and vector databases
Optimize database performance, manage stored procedures, and ensure data quality across Oracle and cloud-based data platforms
Deploy and monitor applications and AI models using CI/CD pipelines, container platforms, and DevOps tools
Apply MLOps and LLMOps practices to support reliable, scalable model operations
Ensure platform security, compliance, logging, observability, and performance tuning across environments
Participate in requirements reviews, sprint planning, code reviews, release management, and technical documentation
Support production releases, troubleshoot issues, and deliver timely resolution to technical problems
